My Healing Journey

My research began in 2002 during my Ph.D. at Boston University, when I was studying post-operative wound healing. No matter where a surgery is performed, whether on the bone, muscle, or skin, the healing process always depends on one thing: the body's own ability to generate new cells.

We, as surgeons, can only do so much. We place the sutures. Then we wait. It’s not the doctor that heals — it’s the patient’s own biology.

The human body is an incredibly smart machine, a self-programming computer that knows how to create an entire human being from two cells, then maintain every function: the heartbeat, breathing, and the function of every cell, for 24 hours a day, every day of our lives.

And I've come to believe firmly that the best way to restore the body and achieve beauty is to stimulate its natural regenerative intelligence.

But it took me years to find the key to natural cellular regeneration.

A Problem and a Solution

As a surgeon with over 30 years of experience, I’ve seen what happens when the body is cut open. It doesn’t like it. Invasive procedures cause both physical and biological trauma. They leave scars, and they disrupt the body’s delicate processes that help it stay happy and healthy.

So I started looking for a way to stimulate healing from the outside, without injury. The breakthrough came when I began working with natural-origin nanoparticles.

It was essential to keep them natural. The body recognizes and processes natural substances much better than synthetic or chemical ones. This is already well documented; we see the same issue with processed foods and the side effects they trigger.

But working with real, unprocessed natural materials has its own challenges. They are fragile. They spoil quickly — just like natural food. We use different sizes of particles — 5,000 and 110,000 Da — for different functions:
